The UNEP report is about Forests in the Green Economy. Forests are one of the 10 sectors that make a change to low carbon economy with sustainably exploit its natural resources and create future jobs in this sector

The good news in the report is that deforestation is slowing and in some areas such as Asia, the Caribbean and Europe the area of forests has increased in the last 20 years. Planted forests will also increase if there is an investment in the sector.

In Brazil, as noticed by the WWF, World Wildlife Foundation, we are using creativity to plant trees and build protection zones around the Atlantic Forest and so enable it to recover.
