Lesson 1: Biodiversity

The landing was almost perfect and, amazingly, the blue planet was one of the most beautiful places they had ever seen.  They found an appropriate place to stay and unloaded the spaceships:  inflatable mattresses, cloth tents that reflected the sunlight, tools to extract the metal and food.  Luckily for the prince, water was abundant where they were and they could stay there until they found the metal they were looking for.

Our nature is full of biodiversity.

There are so many different species of plants and animals on Earth that we still have a lot to discover. “We are burning a great library of knowledge without ever having opened the books” (Tunza, Biodiversity).

It makes no sense to destroy what we do not even know!
