“Supercharger” for Tesla electric cars

Tesla Motors Inc. have a solar power station “Supercharger” for their electric cars. The refueling time is

the same as a stop for gas and resto of a conventional car.

CEO Elon Musk took just three years to turn a small company into a successful car manufacturer, earning  Car of the Year by the Tesla Model S, in Automobile Magazine. According to Musk, the company has secretly installed six rest and charger stop in California solving the problem of long trips.

The charger stations assure consumers more convenience in the use of electric cars, with very positive effects for the environment. Musk said that stations in California will produce more energy than is needed to keep the cars running.

Musk’s dream is that electric cars dominate the market and despite criticism by pointing to its failure, he has succeeded!

Musk is candidate for Treehugger Person of the Year 2012.
