Ecological Footprint

We can say it is the human being’s digital left on nature. It  measures our impact on the environment: the amount of productive land and water we use to produce what we consume; and the space we need to put our trash.

In short, we can say that the ecological footprint is the amount of “nature” we use to satisfy our needs. Then everything will depend on the style of life: the higher the consumption of a person, the greater should be its ecological footprint.

If we do not find a balance between what we take from nature and what can we replace, our Earth will not be enough to sustain the needs of future generations.
